Bethesda has two new banners to celebrate 40 years worshipping at Lapwing Grove. The Church moved from the Old Town in 1976 due to the New Town Development. One banner represents the old Bethesda and the building as it is today in Palace Fields.
Many people came from the old building to the new in 1976. Sadly, not many of the old congregation are with us now but the life of the Church continues to thrive.
The second banner captures the essence of Bethesda Church.
Each pebble representing activities and people within the parish and local community. We are all as living stones, to be used by God, becoming more Christ-like through the power of the Holy Spirit and to grow and further God’s Kingdom.
